We are working on behalf of a regional home builder who, having been long established, have built a reputation for being progressive in terms of innovation and sustainability. They pride themselves of producing high quality apartments, bespoke luxury homes and large scale residential and mix use schemes.

Due to continued growth and increased workload the MD is now looking to appoint an experienced PA to support him in his day to day function. He is responsible for the overall development pipeline so the suitable candidate will need a broad understanding of the build process from pre-construction through to sales and the exit process. You’ll by no means be an expert in all areas but an understanding of the planning process legalities is essential coupled with the legalities at the other end of the process, sales.

Additionally, you’ll perform the typical duties of a PA; diary and inbox management, screen and control incoming mail and telephone calls and respond accordingly, preparation of meeting documentation, prepare and organise reports for meetings, minutes and agendas, prepare presentations to a high standard, draft correspondence, handle confidential and sensitive information/issues, organise travel/accommodation etc.

You’ll be a self-motivated, forward thinker with a proactive approach and the ability to use your initiative as the MD is often out on site. Successful applicants will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be highly organised with strong prioritising and multi-tasking abilities. A professional approach with high degree of discretion is vital along with a ‘can do’ attitude and good sense of humour.

A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are essential coupled with fast and accurate typing skills.
