JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client has been established for over 50 years and have become one of Britain’s largest and most reputable house builders. As a high performing business, they look for high performing people and as such are looking for 2 Customer Care Operatives to carry out warranty work on developments based in Wokingham, Hook and Aldershot.

As the face of Customer Care, suitable applicants will ensure service levels and customer satisfaction are maintained, from the point of customer’s completion on a property through the 2-year warranty period, and beyond if required.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To ensure all remedials operations undertaken are fully compliant with the company HSE policies and procedures, putting the safety of the teams, contractors and customer as first priority.
• To undertake all operations in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Customer Care Operatives.
• To ensure that the company vehicle is roadworthy, clean and tidy at all times and that both company and private tools are in good working order and compliant with any testing requirements.
• To take work instructions for the Customer Care Department, ensuring all customer appointments are attended on time in order to repair defects in a timely manner, to a high standard and ensuring first time resolution.
• To be considerate to the needs of individual customers whilst operating within their home.
• To complete all online reporting via the Operative App, facilitating accurate record keeping of defect resolution and root cause analysis.
• To provide detailed and supporting evidence of all works that are chargeable to a third-party contractor.
• To liaise with and monitor subcontractors working alongside the Customer Care team.
• Where appropriate, to complete inspections of reported defects, providing full details of agreed works to both the customer and Customer Care Department.

A multi trades background is essential with a comprehensive understanding of construction/house building and a working knowledge of the NHBC warranty tolerances. You’re likely to have primary trade experience in either joinery, painting, wall tiling or plastering/dry lining but with an ability to undertake multi trade repairs. Our client is also interested in anyone with a plumbing multi trades background.

Contracted hours are Monday to Friday – 8.00 to 5.00 (no weekends or Bank Holidays)

Uniform, Van and fuel card provided.
